🎯 Your Mission

The Quality Technology & Digital Manager is responsible for leading the digital transformation of Manufacturing Quality across Roca Group. The role drives the implementation of Quality 4.0 initiatives, advanced technologies, automation, artificial vision systems, and data-driven solutions to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Acting as the link between Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, and IT, the position will develop and deploy innovative digital solutions that modernize manufacturing and inspection processes, increase operational efficiency, and support Roca Group's industrial excellence strategy.

The successful candidate will drive Quality 4.0 initiatives across Roca Group, leveraging digitalization, automation, artificial intelligence, and smart manufacturing technologies to deliver sustainable improvements in quality, productivity, and operational excellence.

 

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the Manufacturing Quality digitalization roadmap aligned with Roca Group's manufacturing and quality objectives.
  • Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of digital quality systems, including eQMS, MES, SPC, traceability, analytics, and automated data collection solutions.
  • Drive the digitalization of manufacturing and quality processes by replacing manual and paper-based activities with standardized digital workflows.
  • Develop and implement Artificial Vision, Machine Vision, and AI-enabled inspection technologies to improve defect detection, product consistency, and process capability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate inspection and quality control activities through advanced imaging, sensors, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Promote Industry 4.0 initiatives, including IIoT, real-time monitoring, predictive quality, machine connectivity, and process automation.
  • Establish quality analytics and digital dashboards to provide real-time visibility of manufacturing performance and quality KPIs.
  • Support predictive and data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and AI applications.
  • Partner with manufacturing sites to identify and implement technology-enabled continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects, scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
  • Lead cross-functional digital transformation projects, ensuring successful deployment, change management, user adoption, and benefit realization.
  • Ensure compliance, data integrity, governance, and cybersecurity standards across all quality-related technologies and systems.

 

🎓 What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality, Digital Manufacturing, Automation, Operational Excellence, or Industrial Technology.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation, quality systems, smart manufacturing, and process improvement.
  • Experience with Artificial Vision, automated inspection systems, Industry 4.0 technologies, data analytics, and manufacturing digitalization is highly desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification and project management experience are advantageous.
